Labour Day, also known as Mayday, is celebrated on the1st of May to recognize the importance of workers and pay tribute to them for their hard work.
Everyday, during this week, all four year groups of the Kindergarten celebrated the diversity of all the support staff, and also acknowledged and recognized the important role that each and everyone of them plays in our school community. In class, children discussed with their teachers what Labour Day was and its importance. The children brought a refreshing chilled juice from home; and as a token of respect and appreciation, distributed it with a big thank you to a member of the support staff !
