On Thursday 14th December, Middle Section invited Ms. Tania Mirza to speak to our students. Ms. Mirza (KGS Class of 1994) is a Bachelors in Communication Studies. With over 20 years of teaching experience, she is currently heading O Levels and Student Wellbeing at a school in Karachi.
Amongst other things, she spoke to the students about choosing subjects, keeping in mind what they are good at, goal setting, and learning to focus on skills rather than marks. She also spoke about thinking about their ideal colleges and careers, yet understanding the fact that life may steer them in a different direction. Under such circumstances, being resilient enough to adjust sails and use the skills acquired to do the best in whichever line they select is imperative for their professional growth.
