The 2024 Math Olympiad was organised on the 21st May. It not only celebrated the brilliance of mathematics but also reinforced the values of teamwork, critical thinking, and effective communication. Twenty four students participated from three levels. Students were divided into four team, Frere, Streeton, Papworth  and Napier. 

The program started with a warm up activity followed by group activities. The second round was a  Quick Math Round, where teams rapidly answered questions without written calculations. The third round was the artist round, which was exclusively for year VIII students. Teams were asked to call out a number from 1 to 5 to select the picture. One student of year VIII played the role of the instructor and the other was the artist. The picture was displayed on the screen for the instructor to use mathematical terminology and give instructions to the artist to complete the picture.  Year VII was given an activity to complete. Lastly, two students from year IX participated in a true and false round. One by one, ten mathematical facts were read out and the students had to say true or false at the end of each statement. Audiences were also involved and they were asked mental math questions. At the end of the program results were announced,  Papworth House took the lead and was declared the winning house.
