The KGS Ramadan Social, the first Iftar gathering at the Middle Section, began with a reflective talk that offered students a much-needed pause — a chance to step back and consider what may be holding them back from their personal goals. Unlike the usual emphasis on relentless positivity or striving for perfection, the discussion encouraged students to simply recognize habits that may not be serving them well. It wasn’t about immediate change or embracing ideal behaviors; rather, it was about acknowledging that identifying areas for growth is, in itself, progress. This gentle, realistic approach seemed to resonate with the students, offering them a refreshing perspective on self-awareness and personal growth. 

Afterwards, students enjoyed a well-deserved break from their demanding routines, engaging in activities of their choice. Throw ball, cricket, football, and card games brought energy and laughter to the space. More importantly, gathering around the dastarkhwan allowed everyone to share a meal, engage in warm conversations, and simply enjoy being together.

The event also embraced the spirit of giving, as students brought Eid gifts intended for children at a local hospital. The evening’s warmth, thoughtfulness, and genuine connection truly embodied the essence of Ramadan — fostering community, compassion, and personal growth in a way that felt both meaningful and memorable.
