Karachi Grammar School was honoured to host Mr. Askari, a distinguished alumnus and a high-performance leader in the global finance and technology sector, for an enlightening and motivational talk with our students in classes 7 to 9.
Mr. Askari, with his remarkable background, brought along a wealth of experience.
The focus of his talk was on “Being the Best Version of Yourself”. He shared personal stories and lessons learned throughout his impressive career, emphasizing resilience, compassion, and self-awareness. He spoke candidly about bouncing back from failures, the importance of physical, mental, and spiritual health, and the dangers of addiction.
One of the most impactful moments was his discussion about the value of community, where he highlighted the importance of coming back and contributing to one’s roots, using his own experiences and connections with Karachi Grammar School as a prime example.
The students were deeply engaged, especially when Mr. Askari shared anecdotes from his time at KGS, relatable stories of challenges and triumphs, and his insights into maintaining a balance between success and humility.
The session concluded with Mr. Askari encouraging the students to embrace challenges, stay true to themselves, and always strive to be their best selves. His message of love conquering all resonated with the audience, leaving a lasting impact on our young minds.
