To raise awareness about environmental conservation, the World Geography Department organised a special Earth Day session on 22nd April 2025.
Held in the Shed, the event featured a short presentation, a video, and an engaging quiz on green living, conducted in collaboration with a College Section student-led initiative, the Sayebaan Project, promoting tree plantation and sustainability.
The session was led by Moosa Gardezi, an alumnus, and Hamza Allawala, a current student—both active members of Sayebaan. The initiative not only sparked curiosity and excitement but also fostered a sense of responsibility towards nature.
Saplings were awarded to quiz winners, and the event received an enthusiastic response, hopefully inspiring students to take meaningful steps toward a greener future.
As we mark Earth Day, this collaboration serves as a reminder that even small actions, when rooted in awareness and care, can grow into lasting change.
