On the vibrant occasion of the Festival of Art and Learning held on December 19th, students at KGS Middle Section showcased an inspiring fusion of creativity, innovation, and community engagement. This annual event, organised with meticulous planning and enthusiasm, centred around three key themes: Art, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Community Service.

Under the guidance of their dedicated class teachers and assistant class teachers, students delved into the realms of artistry, technology, and social responsibility. The Festival provided a platform for students to express their knowledge and skills through a variety of mediums, including presentations, skits, projects, art projects and interactive stalls.

Artistic Expression:

The Art themes allowed students to unleash their creative potential. Year VII Students showcased their mastery of the colour wheel by ingeniously connecting it to real-life contexts and vividly portraying it through natural world depictions. Year VIII crafted a variety of 3D sculptures and repurposed materials in an imaginative and captivating manner. Students of Year IX showcased their dress designing learnings through creatively decorating mannequins utilising recycled materials, highlighting their commitment to sustainability in fashion & design. The FoAL was adorned with a kaleidoscope of artistic expressions, showcasing the diverse talents within the student body. Art department under the supervision of Mrs. Masooma Rizvi made the MS Art Gallery a jewel for FoAL.

Exploring AI:

The theme of Artificial Intelligence ignited curiosity and innovation. Students delved into the world of technology, presenting projects that explored the applications and implications of AI. The presentations reflected the students’ understanding of this cutting-edge field and its potential impact on the future.

Community Service Initiatives:

The spirit of giving back was evident in the Community Service theme. In addition to their academic pursuits, students actively participated in fundraising initiatives by setting up stalls on school days. These stalls offered an array of items, and the proceeds were dedicated to charitable causes, demonstrating the students’ commitment to making a positive impact on the community.

Interactive Showcase:

The culmination of weeks of hard work was presented not only to the school community but also to parents, peers, and school students. Visitors were treated to engaging presentations, thought-provoking skits, and innovative projects that reflected the students’ dedication to their chosen themes.
