The Year II Awards Day, held on 14th May 2025, was a heartwarming celebration of the talents, efforts, and growth of every child.
The ceremony opened with a formal academic procession, as the Kindergarten Section teachers, dressed in academic regalia, entered the Auditorium to warm applause from students and parents. The Headmistress, Mrs. Farooq, and the Principal, Mr. Lander, addressed the audience, highlighting the importance of recognising individual progress and emphasising the school’s commitment to the holistic development of each child.
Following the national anthem, the award distribution began. One by one, the children were invited on stage to receive their certificates across a range of thoughtfully chosen categories including “Reading Expert,” “Aspiring Author,” “Terrific Team Player,” “Behtareen Urdu,” “Remarkably Responsible,” “Fantastic Friend,” and “Sports Superstar.” Each child was greeted by the Principal and had their photo taken—small moments that marked big milestones in their learning journeys.Between the award presentations, children showcased their expression and elocution skills through brief performances that were warmly received by the audience.
A particularly special moment in the ceremony was the presentation of a citation to Mrs. Anar Moiz Akbarali Kakal, Teacher and Head of Year Nursery, in recognition of her 25.9 years of dedicated and loyal service to the school. Her longstanding commitment and invaluable contributions to early years education were acknowledged with deep appreciation by all present.
The ceremony concluded with a musical medley featuring a national song, a special farewell song, and the school song chorus. Parents were then invited to visit the garden, where a colourful display of the children’s artwork offered a glimpse into their creativity and classroom experiences.
Warm congratulations to all students, teachers, and families on a meaningful celebration of learning and progress.
