Kindness was the value of the month for September at the Kindergarten Section. 

All month long children learnt about kindness through multiple lessons, activities, and events. Nursery children drew ways to be kind to others and put their drawings together to create a ‘Kindness Tree’. All the children of the Kindergarten brought  in a pebble which they painted and made pledges to practice kindness. The pebbles created a ‘Kindness Path’ in the heart of the Kindergarten garden. Children were delighted to walk along this path, often bringing their parents along with them.

By focusing on kindness, a message of its value is sent throughout the classroom community. Children who learn to treat others with kindness in their classroom can carry this value outside the classroom and throughout their lives.
