Prep students enjoyed a fun and meaningful field trip to Hosh Muhammad Sheedi Park on 2nd and 3rd February 2026 as part of their Science unit on plants. Stepping out of the classroom and into nature gave the children the perfect chance to explore flowering and non-flowering plants up close, turning their learning into a real-world experience.
The children excitedly walked from school to the park, enjoying the journey together. Once there, they took part in a variety of structured P.E. activities, including dodge the ball, grab the bean bag, and tug of war. These games not only brought lots of laughter but also helped develop teamwork, coordination, and physical skills.
The learning continued with a nature walk around the park, where students observed plants closely, discussed their features, and shared their ideas with one another. This was followed by an art activity, where the children expressed their creativity by drawing scenes inspired by nature.
The trip ended with a cheerful picnic, after which the students happily walked back to school. Overall, the visit was a perfect blend of learning, physical activity, creativity, and fun—leaving the children with lasting memories and a deeper appreciation for the natural world.
