Nursery children explored the joys of a ‘Nature Walk’ as they walked down the road to Aunty Park!This was experiential learning at its best,as the children got to unwind, relax and immerse themselves in nature. Pleasant,sunny weather,with cool breezes made it the perfect time for a class outing.

During the ‘Nature Walk’,the importance of road and pedestrian safety was highlighted,as the children investigated the various types of shrubs and trees along the way .In the park the children thoroughly enjoyed interacting with nature in their own inventive ways, as they explored the landscape,discovered a whole host of creatures and listened to the call of different birds.

Drawing the scenery,playing games and then eating a delicious snack rounded off a memorable outing.
