The Kindergarten Section came alive with excitement on Friday, November 15th, as we celebrated our Annual Sports Day. With all four-year groups participating together, the event was filled with energy,joy and learning.. Parents were present in full support, adding to the day’s spirit as they cheered on the young athletes and shared in the memorable experience..

The morning began with a warm welcome for our Chief Guest, Dr. Asim Belgaumi, a  KGS alumnus. The event opened with the National Anthem, filling the atmosphere with a sense of patriotism and enthusiasm. Dressed in their vibrant House t-shirts, the children performed a dynamic P.E. display to an upbeat rhythm, showcasing  teamwork and collaboration.

At the Kindergarten Sports Day, the focus was not on competition. Instead, it was a day of fun, activity, and skill-building. Through age-appropriate games and events, children had the chance to learn the basics of sports while enhancing their coordination, confidence, patience, and sportsmanship. Each class competed in various skill-based and novelty events, emphasizing effort, cooperation, and cheering one another on. The events were thoughtfully chosen to be safe, fun, and appropriately challenging, allowing children to participate successfully while building their skills.

The excitement didn’t stop with the children’s events—parents, teachers, and even the ancillary staff joined in, much to the delight of the young audience. The cheers from family members and teachers filled the air, encouraging every participant.

As the day drew to a close, Year II students displayed their expertise with a skill run and took their final bow before the Chief Guest, marking their readiness to transition to the Junior Section. Speeches from the Headmistress, Principal, and Chief Guest rounded off the day, leaving everyone with lasting memories. Each child departed with a goody bag and a sense of accomplishment.
