The Kindergarten buzzed with excitement as children stepped into the world of stories, bringing beloved book characters to life. Dressed as heroes, fairytale characters, adventurers, and wizards, from across genres and eras, pupils from all four year groups took part in the much-anticipated Character Parade—an event that marked the grand finale of a week dedicated to the joy of reading.

Led by our enthusiastic librarian, Mrs. Zahra Lotia, the young readers excitedly made their way around the courtyard, cheered on by their teachers and peers who lined the parade route with applause and encouragement. Smiles and laughter filled the air as children showcased their carefully chosen costumes, each one a tribute to a treasured book. Earlier in the day, parents had the chance to capture special moments, adding to the memories of this much-loved tradition.

Year after year, the Character Parade continues to grow, inspiring a love for books while fostering creativity and self-expression. More than just a colourful celebration, it is a reminder of the magic found within the pages of a story. As one teacher put it, “It’s wonderful to see students immerse themselves in literature in such a fun and engaging way.”
