Founders’ Day is traditionally a very important day in the school calendar.This year,  Karachi Grammar School celebrated its 176th anniversary.

The day  started with a special, combined Kindergarten and Junior Section assembly held in the auditorium.Dressed in their white and grey uniforms, wearing their iconic school ties, the children sang the national anthem and watched a presentation showcasing the history of Karachi Grammar School. Mrs.Farooq and some teachers from both sections reflected on the school’s rich history and encouraged the children to always be forces for good in the world.The school song was sung and the assembly ended on a celebratory note with the children singing ‘‘Happy Birthday” to the school!

To mark this occasion,the children of both sections participated in a card making activity, drawing and  writing birthday messages for ‘KGS’ and displaying them in the foyer. Kindergarten children made colourful bookmarks,badges,candles and a cake and put up quick writes on  their classroom boards.

Congratulations  KGS, may the next 176 years be even better than the first!
