This week in their Urdu class, Prep children had a fun time learning Urdu letters through exciting and interactive activities! To reinforce the letter ” ” they were treated to freshly cooked ‘halwa’—a yummy dessert that many tasted for the very first time and absolutely loved.
But that’s not all! A vibrant ‘hajam ki dukan’ (barber shop) was set up in the planning area. Equipped with brushes, combs, mirrors, and toy scissors, our imaginative play turned the space into a buzzing barbershop. Children took turns pretending to be barbers, giving each other haircuts and creating fabulous hairstyles. This playful interaction allowed them to use Urdu vocabulary in real-time conversations, making the experience both educational and full of laughter.
It was a week filled with laughter, learning, and new experiences— a wonderful way to explore language and creativity together!
