At the Kindergarten Section, a heart-warming tradition took centre stage on Wednesday 25th October, as the children of all four Year groups came together to celebrate Grandparents Day.
This special occasion, dedicated to honouring the role that grandparents play in their grandchildren’s lives, was a sweet and memorable event. It was a joy to see the smiles on the faces of both the students and the grandparents as the kindergarteners took the stage and charmed everyone with their cheerful singing performances. Due to space constraints, the grandparents of Years I and II children were invited.
After taking a walk through the foyer, which was decorated with vibrant ‘grandparents’ posters created by the children of Years I and II, grandparents of the students in both these year groups visited the classrooms, met the teachers, and reminisced about their own school days. Prep children had designed colourful bookmarks to share with their grandparents, while Nursery children, after discussing what they enjoyed doing with their grandparents, made ” I Love You” cards and personalised them with their hand print!
The wonderful morning concluded with hugs and kisses and children gifting their grandparents hand-crafted red hearts.
