The auditorium was alive with the sound of music as the Kindergarten children celebrated the end of the year with a lively and entertaining Sing-Along. The programme, a wonderful balance of East and West, was spread over two days, allowing each child to shine on stage. This was the ideal opportunity for the children to showcase their achievements in singing, acting and movement, in front of their highly appreciative parents.

On day one, Nurseries and Preps took centre stage as they travelled back to the dinosaur age, and then zoomed off on a rocket ship to outer space. From dancing in the ‘rain’, to twirling colourful handkerchiefs during a traditional dance medley, the children had a great time singing and performing. Day two saw Year I singing and dancing their hearts out to an eclectic assortment of songs ranging from Christmas classics to some modern favourites .Year II took the audience on a musical journey around Pakistan, as they performed to regional songs, dancing enthusiastically to amongst others, a catchy Bhangra beat, and matched their steps during a Khattak dance. Creative headgear, vibrant costumes, accessories and other props added colour to the performances.

 The concert ended with a rousing rendition of traditional holiday songs and the magical appearance of Santa Claus added festivity and seasonal cheer to the occasion.

Well done children- we are so very proud of the effort and enthusiasm that you put into your practices and the final performance! A big thank you to the teachers of the Kindergarten section for preparing the children so well .Thank you parents for joining us to create a  heart- warming and precious memory!
