Year V went for their field trip to a TCF school in Qayyumabad. The objective of visiting the campus was to give children an opportunity to observe and understand how we can remove the barriers of class and privilege to make the citizens of Pakistan agents of positive change, and to inculcate the importance of ‘giving’ to others less fortunate than ourselves.

Upon their arrival, the Year V children were warmly greeted by teachers and students  who currently benefit from the NGOs programmes.They welcomed our children enthusiastically, with big smiles and handmade cards. During a tour of the classrooms, the Year V children actively engaged with the TCF students and joined in a class doing mindful breathing and relaxation postures, fostering a sense of camaraderie and inclusion.

One of the highlights of the visit were the personal stories shared by some TCF alumni. Not only were they heartwarming and inspiring, but also imparted valuable life lessons. Our young students learned about the challenges and aspirations of children less fortunate than themselves, gained a deeper understanding of the socio-economic disparities that exist in our society and recognized the importance of empathy, compassion, and actively working towards making a  change  for the better in the lives of others.
