Held over two days, 23rd–24th April, the Year III trip to the English Biscuit Manufacturing factory was a wonderful mix of fun and hands-on learning. The excitement was evident right from the start, as the children eagerly chatted and gazed out of the windows on the bus, full of anticipation for the adventure ahead.
At the factory, students enjoyed a guided tour that took them through the fascinating journey of biscuit production. From the churning mixers and shaping machines to the ovens and packaging lines, each step sparked amazement as they watched some of their favourite biscuits being made.
A standout moment was the interactive session where the children had the chance to mix ingredients themselves. This practical activity gave them a real feel for the process and made the experience even more engaging.
The trip offered an enjoyable and educational glimpse into how everyday snacks are produced, igniting curiosity and providing a memorable learning experience beyond the classroom.
