As part of their PSHE learning, Year II children stepped into the world of dentistry, with one section visiting the dental clinic each day. They had the opportunity to meet the dentist and learn more about caring for their teeth.

During their visit, the children were introduced to the dental chair, examination tools and a large model of teeth. The dentist explained the purpose of each item and demonstrated the correct way to brush their teeth. The pupils listened attentively, eagerly asked questions and enthusiastically took part in the discussion and demonstration.

They returned to school with a better understanding of how to care for their teeth—and a promise to look after the ones they already have!
