25 May 2023
Thursday 25th May saw the Junior Section buzzing with energy and excitement as students from all year groups, dressed in their colourful party clothes, celebrated the last day of school..
The day started with the Year VIs showcasing their diverse range of talents to an audience of their peers and teachers. It was great to see the variety of acts, including singing, dancing, a piano solo and skits, interspersed with some reflective speeches by the House Captains. The highlights of the show were a parody of Mind Your Language andtraditional dancing to a beloved folk song, which had the audience clapping and swaying to the rhythm. It was, however, a poignant moment for the Year VIs when they said goodbye for the last time, as they prepared for the next chapter in their lives.
Then it was time for the class party! Banners and buntings inside the classrooms added a festive touch to the occasion, as the children enjoyed the delicious treats that they had brought to share with their class fellows and the domestic staff.
The end-of-the-year activities served as a fun-filled conclusion to the school year and gave the students a well-deserved change from the routine of school life.
Happy Summer Holidays Everyone!
