The Junior Section Awards Days were a joyful celebration of our students’ talents, strengths, and personal growth. Held from 15th to 20th May, the event spanned four days and included all year groups.
Marking a significant milestone for the Year VI students attending their final Junior Section Awards Day, the ceremony began with a memorable academic procession. Teachers, dressed in academic regalia, entered the auditorium to warm applause from students and parents.
The Headmistress, Mrs. Farooq, and the Principal, Mr. Lander, addressed the audience, acknowledging each child’s unique journey and reaffirming the school’s commitment to holistic development and personal excellence.
Following the national anthem, the award presentations commenced. Students were invited on stage to receive certificates in thoughtfully curated categories such as Mathematical Reasoning, Musical Intelligence, Excellence in Sports, Originality in Art, and Proficiency in Verbal Communication (English & Urdu), among others. Each child was greeted by the Principal and had their photograph taken—moments that marked meaningful milestones in their learning journey. The award segments were interspersed with delightful student performances in elocution and dramatic expression which were warmly received by the audience.
A particularly meaningful moment was the presentation of a special citation to a long-serving member of our support staff, honouring his 25 years of dedicated service to the school. His commitment was recognised with heartfelt appreciation and a standing ovation from the entire audience.
Each ceremony concluded with a musical medley featuring a national song, a farewell song, and the school anthem. Parents were then invited to the Inner Courtyard to enjoy a vibrant display of student artwork, offering a glimpse into the creativity and classroom experiences of the children.
Warm congratulations to all students, teachers, and families on a meaningful celebration of learning and achievement.
