On October 18th, 98 Junior Section students from Years III to VI completed their martial arts training with a Yellow Belt test, led by their accredited sensei. The Yellow Belt symbolizes the first rays of sunlight, representing new growth and the beginning of a journey. For these young learners, it marked their success in mastering the basic techniques, including stances, punches, and kicks.
This achievement signifies that the students have acquired the skills needed for the Yellow Belt level and are ready to advance in their martial arts journey.
On December 16th, a formal awards ceremony was held to celebrate the students’ accomplishments, where they received their Yellow Belts and certificates. As each student’s name was called, they proudly came forward to receive their belt, and their sensei tied the belt’s knot, symbolizing the strong partnership between the school and the family in supporting each child’s progress.
Mrs. Farooq spoke words of gratitude and appreciation to both the children and their parents for their dedication and effort throughout the term. This event was a special occasion to recognize their achievements and the growth they’ve made in martial arts.
