After-school Clubs are an important part of any child’s school journey, and at the Junior Section, we recognise the role that they play in enriching and enhancing children’s school experience.
Run by both internal staff and outside experts, the range of clubs on offer changes each year to reflect the interest shown by the children, and we work hard to ensure that there is ‘something for everyone’.
On four afternoons a week, from the middle of August to the end of September children participated in a diverse array of Afternoon Clubs that included Roller-skating, Cooking, Piano, Guitar, Dance, Drama, Woodcraft, Martial Arts & Taekwondo, Clay, Craft, Badminton, Basketball, Tennis, Football and Cricket.
Not only were the weekly Afternoon Clubs fun, they also boosted children’s self-esteem and self-confidence and provided them with opportunities to make new friends, learn new skills, and succeed in different areas.
