Talent ran deep at the Karachi Gymkhana swimming pool as Karachi Grammar School emerged victorious at the 60th SU Sindh Open Boys Swimming Championships, which took place on the 28th and 29th of October.
The swimming meet, organised by the Sindh Swimming Association (SSA) showcased the skills of some of the best young swimmers in Sindh, and it was heartening to see our Junior Section boys swimming so very well. It was indeed a testament to their drive, work ethic and team spirit.
The two day event consisted of over 70 events with competitors in several different age groups. The first day commenced with a magnificent opening ceremony where all the swimmers participated in the March Past, displaying their school or club banner.
The Junior Section boys were on top of their game and amassed a remarkable haul of gold, silver and bronze medals in both individual and team events. Team KGS broke numerous records, winning with a margin of over 900 points!
Congratulations, way to go boys!
