Karachi Grammar School is pleased to announce a new partnership with Celtic Soccer Academy, marking a significant milestone as KGS becomes the Academy’s first International Partner in Pakistan. This collaboration represents an exciting step forward in the continued development of football at the School and reflects a shared commitment to nurturing young talent through sport.
From the outset, both institutions recognised a strong alignment in values—community, hard work, respect, and the holistic development of young people. Through this partnership, Celtic Soccer Academy will work closely with KGS to support the growth of its football programme, providing structured technical guidance, coach education, and access to internationally recognised training methodologies. Players will benefit from enhanced development pathways, exposure to elite coaching standards, and opportunities to participate in training camps, talent identification programmes, and potential international experiences linked to the Academy.
The partnership will also involve ongoing collaboration between coaching staff, including workshops, curriculum support, and regular engagement to ensure the sustained development of football at KGS. This exchange of expertise aims to elevate both player performance and coaching standards, embedding a professional and progressive footballing culture within the School.
Principal Dr Carl P. Lander noted that KGS has long enjoyed a strong footballing tradition, supported by its established relationship with Karachi United, which has contributed to the success of both the boys’ and girls’ teams in local and national competitions in recent years. He added that the School is delighted to now work with Celtic Soccer Academy to take its football programme to the next level.
Dr Lander also highlighted the shared heritage between the two institutions, observing that both KGS and Celtic were founded with strong community values at their core. The emphasis placed on family, loyalty, hard work, and service continues to define both the School and the Club, forming a natural foundation for this partnership.
