Six enthusiastic Year VI students from the Junior Section proudly represented KGS at the Pakistan Spelling Bee Regional Championship, hosted by PECHS Beaconhouse Campus on Sunday, 20th October 2024. After weeks of focused practice and preparation, supported by their Head of Year, the students were eager to showcase their spelling abilities in what proved to be a challenging yet rewarding experience.

Competing alongside teams from various schools, the event was filled with excitement and teamwork. One of the Junior Section teams advanced to the second round but narrowly missed out in a tie-breaker. The second team, however, moved ahead,eventually claiming the title of Regional Champions. This remarkable achievement secured their spot at the National Spelling Bee in Islamabad.

The students shared their positive experiences, highlighting the fun of learning new words, supporting each other, and growing as confident spellers. KGS is very proud of their efforts and celebrates not only their success but also their dedication and teamwork. The entire school community is cheering them on as they prepare for the Nationals, eager to see what they will achieve next!
