Once again this September, the KGS Early Years and Junior Sections came together to support children undergoing cancer treatment through the Umeed Parr Toy Drive, continuing a tradition of kindness and giving during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. 

Children from all year groups generously donated age-appropriate toys, including puzzles, crayons and small Lego sets, along with personalised message cards for the children receiving treatment. From Tuesday to Friday, the central foyer became a collection point, with the Umeed Parr team managing the collection of donations.

As part of Umeed Parr’s Rewards Programme, the donated gifts will be given to children in cancer wards to recognise their courage and strength. The initiative also provided our students with an opportunity to develop empathy,connection and social responsibility, helping them understand how small acts of generosity can support others during challenging times.

Thank you to our students, parents and staff for their generous participation and for helping bring moments of comfort and happiness to children facing a difficult journey.
