Wednesday, 14th January, the children from the Junior Section (Years I–VI) visited the College Section to see a wonderful Art Display put together by the O and A Level students. The morning was bright and pleasantly cool, and the children, accompanied by their teachers, enjoyed the short walk to the College.
They were warmly welcomed on arrival, and immediately immersed in the exhibition. The display featured an impressive mix of artistic work, from traditional clothing in a fashion and fabric showcase to creative portfolios filled with abstract art, still lifes, and other unique styles. The students had worked with a variety of mediums, including acrylics, oils, watercolors, and prints, all presented with great care.
A particular highlight for the younger children was the interactive ‘Finish the Drawing!’ board, which allowed them to add their own touches to the artwork. The visit offered a fantastic opportunity for the Junior Section students to appreciate the talent of their senior peers and left them inspired by the creativity and effort that went into each piece.
