The first-ever Junior Section Year I and II Sports Day kicked off on a bright and lively note, with the Year I school band leading the way and setting the tone for an exciting morning. Soon after, the House contingents made their entrance, proudly led by their House Mistresses, filling the grounds with colour, cheer, and school spirit. The presence of parents added to the excitement, making the day even more special.
The morning continued with the arrival of our Chief Guest, Mrs. Seema Haider, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. Before the races began, everyone joined in a fun warm-up and an energetic dancercise session, bringing smiles to all.
The excitement grew as our young athletes took part in a variety of novelty races. Year I students impressed everyone with their Skill Run, showcasing agility and coordination, while Year II students thrilled the crowd with their fast-paced Relay Race, highlighting teamwork and speed. These activities offered the children a wonderful opportunity to challenge themselves, demonstrate confidence, and display patience and good sportsmanship—all while enjoying every moment on the field.
Speeches from the Headmistress and Chief Guest brought a perfect close to the morning, leaving the children with happy memories to treasure. Each student also went home with a special goody bag—Hula Hoops for Year I and Frisbees for Year II.
It was a warm, vibrant event that celebrated effort, teamwork, and the joy of coming together as a school community.
