Introduction

At the Junior Section we believe that education is the way to promote the moral,
social, cultural, physical, intellectual and spiritual development of the young
student.
We aim to create an environment in which students learn the values of honesty,
trust, fairness and responsibility. We make every effort to ensure that all our
students are given opportunities to develop their confidence to work
independently and collaboratively and to learn the essential skills of literacy,
numeracy and information and communication technology.
We encourage our students to think creatively and critically, to solve problems
and to appreciate human achievement in aesthetic, scientific, technological and
social fields. We aim to promote students’ self-esteem and emotional well-being
and to develop their ability to relate to others. We see the personal
development of pupils closely linked to their ability to learn and their
academic achievement.
